CAN BLUE BOLTS RAIN THE THUNDER……..

The glitzy glamour is back to the sub-continent.

The mercury has started rising…

The actual world cup is here to start with the knock out stage…

Inconsistent pakistan meeting underdog west indies

glorious India meeting Australian juggernauts

chucker south africa meeting unpredictable New Zealand

and clinical Sri Lanka meeting patchy England…

Analysing team India we see the best player in the world in Sachin Tendulkar, the best captain in MS Dhoni, the best coach in Gary Kirsten, the best batting line up in the young blood down 7 .

Still with the performance so far a question arises…’DOES TEAM INDIA HAVE THE MAKING OF A WORLD CUP WINNING SIDE’?

Despite the shining strength ;the problems hunting the team India are:-

(1)FAULTY BATTING ORDER:Virat kohli being the most consistent player these days was forced to bat down the order and sacrificed at the cost of getting more runs.instead yusuf came with failed inference.

(2)STUBBORN SELECTION: Raina and Ashwini should replace yusuf and chawla. the former one for his inconsistency and later for his fulminant failure. Raina can resuscitate the team’s batting in slog overs and turn the ball towards death well.

(3)FAILED POWERPLAYS: Indian throwing wickets and scoring like minnows in power plays overs are still a threat.

(4) POOR BOWLING:India has a gritty fifth bowler in yuvi but the first four are fizz than fire.

(5)POOR FIELDING :India may not have produced a fielder of legendary class but a dive to arrest the cover drive can pump a few litres of blood among others.

(6)FITNESS:Sehwag is already injured and sitting out of eleven. though others are fit it will be a big blow if anyone gets hit.

With all the teams having some draw backs may be a good news for India. And India should prepare to the best of its ability…

Sachin Tendulkar the epaulette of indian army has to fire…

Sehwag,Gambhir,Kohli,Raina contributing down the order….

Yuvi rays have to blow the ultra heat…

Dhoni has to take phenomenal decisions…

India have to score past the inkable limits in the history…

Zaheer has to add variations into his reportoir with an impeccable line and length… deceive the batsmen with uncanny swing….

Harbhajan’s spin being the spine of indian attack will sing the symphony…

And as far as the history supports, we Indians , emerging from submerging , amidst all diversity stand atop the adversity…

So hope for the best…..

We have to cook the kangaroo curry,

pack a punch for Pak

and then shock the chuckers or lynch the lions!

As a cricket fan,I hope my words will enroute to the future

and glorious India will win the world cup

but with the mask of a cricket analyst looking at the bumpy roads ahead….

I just ask myself again and again…

“The super eleven are aiming for the sky,

the bats will glitz with lightening and sparks,

Crazy fans will be there creating thunder bolts,

still…..
